IMTO’s management promotes, implements, and approves the health and safety policy as an integral part of the company’s management. It considers the improvement of health and safety conditions to be a fundamental element in the organization’s operations, involving all levels of the company.

IMTO management is committed to complying with current legislation, as well as codes of good practice and other commitments voluntarily undertaken by the company.

With the goal of promoting health and safety as a key factor in IMTO’s competitiveness, productivity, and sustainability, we are establishing this policy, which is based on the following principles:

• The continuous improvement of our organization and working conditions—both in terms of services and processes—as they relate to our industrial packaging production activities. Through innovation, we explore ways to mitigate the risks and hazards associated with our operations and workstations.
• People are the organization’s most important resource. The company’s growth is based on the constant improvement of its working conditions.
• Provide appropriate training to improve our employees’ skills, so that they are aware of the risks associated with their positions and duties.
• Establish the necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of all individuals who provide services at our workplaces, regardless of whether they are our own employees or employees of partner companies.
• To foster a participatory environment among employees and provide a balance between the demands of the job, control over their work, training, and the resulting social recognition, thereby encouraging their sense of responsibility and motivation.
• Ensure that everyone in the company takes an active role in this policy and is aware of their individual obligations regarding occupational safety and health.
• The ongoing provision of information, training, and participation by all employees in preventive activities as a guarantee of success in improving the safety culture, as well as the continuous identification of hazards and assessment of occupational risks.
