Through its Environmental Policy, IMTO defines its commitment to conducting its operations in a way that ensures sustainable development and manages the environmental impacts it generates. In this way, it contributes to the well-being of today’s society, with the goal of leaving a legacy of a prosperous and healthy environment for future generations.

IMTO, firmly convinced that the implementation of sound environmental management practices is a key factor in proper business management, reaffirms its commitment to the environment.

To this end, it is based on the following principles:

• Maintain industrial packaging production and service operations in compliance with current regulations and the requirements adopted by the organization.
• Ensure environmental protection and pollution prevention through systems, practices, materials, or products that prevent, reduce, or control pollution.
• Develop initiatives to reduce the consumption of natural resources, including water, energy, and fuels. Minimize the amount of waste generated by implementing appropriate measures for waste reduction, reuse, and recycling.
• Enhance employee training and awareness of environmental issues through specific in-person and distance learning programs as a means of raising awareness and instilling the principles set forth in this Policy. Promote and apply continuous improvement techniques in all activities related to the environment.
• Involve all employees in the company’s environmental management by encouraging their participation in this area.
• Establish communication and training channels to inform IMTO staff about the environmental aspects associated with their activities, to raise their awareness of these issues, and to contribute to the achievement of the established objectives.
• Conduct an annual assessment of the environmental aspects arising from our operations, for the purpose of maintaining and continuously improving the environmental management system.
